Flowers

We raise our flowers following the same organic standards as our vegetables, focusing on an environment clear of any hard chemicals or pesticides, keeping ourselves, our neighbors and our customers free from any harm. By raising organically grown flowers we continue our practices in soil fertility, crop rotation, and growing a healthy beautiful flower with our personal care.

Growing flowers is an on going learning experience and with each year we grow more varieties as we become familiar with their care. Raising flowers is similar to raising vegetables by means of seasonality. There are flowers that prefer cool shady early summer weather while others enjoy basking in the late summer sun.

Among our specialty crop flowers we also raise a mix of the farm's saved prairie and wildflower seeds. As you walk in this field you will be amazed with the variety and color that each flower produces.

Our flowers are always arranged freely in a bouquet to emulate their picturesque field grown life. You may find our bouquets available at our farmers markets and at the farm.
