Pure, Summer Honey

We harvest our honey once per year. We take only the light golden, subtle but complex flavored summer crop from our hives. All honey produced by the bees in the autumn is left for them as food for the long winter. 12 hives are placed around our 55 acre grass and clover hay field, strategically close to our vegetable, flower and fruit fields. These precious honey bees do our farm enormous benefit by transferring pollen from blossom to blossom, pollinating our crops and thereby producing a generous supply of beautifully sublime summer honey. After spending a few years observing and appreciating honey bee life and culture we can honestly say that the honey bee is one of the most honorable and diligent creatures on earth.
