Pasture Raised Broiler Chickens

Chicken that is raised on pasture is a giant step above the chicken found in most grocery stores. Our birds are free to roam, scratch and graze on our expansive grass and clover covered pasture. Those green plants and protein rich insects they find on a daily basis, fresh air and sunshine and the freedom to move around their pasture world gives our chickens their wonderful texture and full flavor that our grandparents considered a luxury.

We raise our broilers on pasture the same way as our laying hens. Along with their daily grass and insect pasture finds we round out their diet with a locally sourced certified organic corn and soy based feed. Moved daily to fresh ground, our pasture pens provide shelter and keep feed and water supplies as well as chickens away from the elements. Our chickens are never given antibiotics or medicated feed.
