Post Harvest Coordinator
post-harvest inventory management, record keeping, communication, market management
plant, weed, harvest, post-harvest prep, delivery, chicken duties, general farm tasks
cross trained farm crew or part-time. Set- up and take-down, stocking, serving customers, inventory management, and sales at our on-site farmstand
June-October open hours : Wedenesday 1-5 pm, Friday 1-5 pm, and Saturday 9-1pm
lawn mowing, tractor operation, field cultivation (prior experience required)
Schedule and Compensation
Monday-Friday and some Saturdays 7-3:30 with flexibility to work until 5
24-45 hours per week
Starting pay based on experience: $9-15/hr.
Raises based upon benchmark skills achievement
Holiday pay after 3 months, bonus for full season
Full Season: mid-February through mid-December
Season positions: March 2nd – November 23rd
Summer positions: May 6th - August 14th
1 year related experience or initiative to farm

Tempel Farms Organics produces certified organic produce, eggs, honey, and apples on about 8 acres, rotated over 25 acres. We focus on soil-building, micro-biology and habitat preservation, diversification of crops and companion planting, compost, working with natural systems, and making the best possible produce available to our neighbors.
