Ready to grow and be an integral part of local organic food production?
greenhouse and hoophouse management, field crew lead and trainer,
coordinate harvests with farm manager and and post harvest coordinator
management of large flock of egg laying hens and mobile pasture units,
egg collection, chick brooding, troubleshooting, and related activities
Post Harvest Coordinator
inventory and farmstand management, post-harvest prep for sales, quality control,
work in coordination with assistant production manager and farm manager
plant, weed, harvest, post-harvest prep, delivery, chicken duties, general farm tasks
tractor operation, field preparation and cultivation (prior experience required)
Schedule and Compensation
Monday-Friday and some Saturdays 7-3:30 with flexibility to work until 5
24-45 hours per week
Starting pay based on experience: $9-15/hr.
Raises based upon benchmark skills achievement
Holiday pay after 3 months, bonus for full season
Full Season: mid-February through mid-December
(Part-time winter hours available for Full Season employees)
Season positions: March – November
Summer positions: May - August
1 year related experience or personally motivated to farm
