We are expanding and accepting applications for the following positions:
Farm Crew: plant, weed, harvest, post-harvest prep, chicken duties, general farm tasks
Prep and Delivery: harvest and post-harvest food prep; local and Chicago deliveries
Market Team: set- up and take-down, stocking, serving customers, inventory management,
and sales, for our Friday farmstand (potentially Saturday as well)
Operator: lawn mowing, tractor operation, field cultivation (prior experience required)
Coordinator: post-harvest inventory management, record keeping, communication
Schedule and Compensation:
Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 with flexibility to work until 5; 24-40 hours per week
Starting pay based on experience: $9-12/hr. Friday market staff hours 10 am-7:30 pm
Summer positions: May 6th- August 16th or Season positions: March 4th – November 22nd
Teachable, able to follow instructions, alert to surroundings
Punctual, reliable, and flexible
Ready and able to work in a variety of conditions
Honest, positive, and respectful
Diligent work ethic displaying attention to detail and growing competency
Readiness to farm

Tempel Farms Organics produces certified organic produce, eggs, and apples on about 8 acres, rotated over 25 acres.
